About this Site

The Site provides information about our accreditation support services (e.g., CHAS, Constructionline, SafeContractor, SSIP/SMAS). It may include guides, checklists and other resources. We aim to keep content accurate and up to date, but we do not guarantee it is free from errors or omissions.

Access to the Site is provided on a temporary basis. We may suspend, withdraw or change any part of the Site without notice.

Using the Site

• You must use the Site lawfully and not in a way that infringes the rights of, or restricts or inhibits the use of the Site by, any other person.
• Do not introduce viruses, trojans, worms, logic bombs or other malicious or technologically harmful material.
• Do not attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, the server on which it is stored, or any server, computer or database connected to the Site.
• You may link to public pages on the Site in a fair and legal way that does not damage our reputation or take advantage of it. You must not suggest any form of association, approval or endorsement where none exists.

Intellectual Property

Unless stated otherwise, all content on the Site, including text, graphics, logos, icons and layout, is owned by or licensed to Tower Compliance Services and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

You may view, download for caching purposes only, and print pages from the Site for your own internal business use. You must not reproduce, duplicate, copy or otherwise exploit material on the Site for a commercial purpose without our prior written consent.

Content on the Site is provided for general information only and does not constitute legal, compliance or professional advice. You should obtain professional or specialist advice before taking, or refraining from, any action based on the Site’s content.

Any consultancy or accreditation support you purchase from us will be governed by the separate Service Agreement or engagement terms we agree with you. If there is any conflict between these Terms of Use and a Service Agreement, the Service Agreement will take precedence for the relevant services.

Our responsibility & liability

We do not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so (e.g., for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation).

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude all implied conditions, warranties, representations or other terms that may apply to the Site or any content on it. We will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site or reliance on any content displayed on it, including but not limited to loss of profits, sales, business, revenue, anticipated savings, business opportunity, goodwill or reputation.

We do not guarantee that the Site will be secure or free from bugs or viruses. You are responsible for configuring your information technology, computer programmes and platform to access the Site and should use your own virus protection software.

Governing law & jurisdiction

These Terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter, are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction.
